#1 · Feb 23, 2017 Hey guys. The heated rear window on my touring (rear side windows and tailgate window) isn't working. I've checked the fuse and its ok, the button light illuminates as it should. Any ideas? Is there a relay or something else that could be faulty? On the e46 the heated rear window and door mirrors switched on automatically when starting in cold weather. You can visibly see steam coming of the heated mirrors when they are working. In the interests of progress BMW have not included this useful feature on the e90. 2007 BMW 335xi AWD E90. According to the Bentley manual, for models up to 3/2007 there is a K13 relay on the left side of the fuse block behind the glovebox. But this car is 5/2007 and there is no From what Im beginning to understand, the wiper becomes stuck due to rust, corrosion and lack of grease. this will eventually burn the motor out. The armature needs to be patiently freed with WD40, or other penetrating fluid, then greased so it moves freely with the glass up (not engaged with the motor drive gear) UNFORTUNATELY, those rear windows, like windshield, are BONDED/ Glued to the body. Here is what Bentley says:"The windshield, rear window, and fixed rear door glass are bonded using special adhesives and tools. For bonded glass replacement, see an authorized BMW service facility or an automotive glass installer."
